Security deposit nightmare
Move-out was a disaster. They charged me for pre-existing damage that was documented on my move-in checklist. Took 3 months to get a partial deposit back. Had to threaten small claims court. Keep everything documented.
Pest Control
Rodent problem
Found mouse droppings in my kitchen twice. Reported it both times and they set traps but never addressed entry points. Other tenants have reported the same. The building needs professional rodent exclusion work.
Repairs & Responsiveness
Avoid this place if you value maintenance
AC broke in July and it took 2 weeks to get fixed. In Los Angeles. The maintenance team consists of one overworked handyman for 80 units. Most repairs are Band-Aid fixes that need to be redone months later.
